Creating Space For Healing
My Counselling Philosophy
I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing,
and change when they are given the right support.
My role as a counsellor is to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges, reconnect with your strengths, and discover new ways forward.
With over 14 years of experience in the community sector and specialist training in counselling, play, and art therapy, I take a holistic and client-centred approach. I understand that no two people are alike, so I tailor my methods to suit your individual needs, whether that’s through talk therapy, creative expression, or practical strategies for everyday life. I value authenticity, empathy, and respect, and I see counselling as a partnership. My goal is to empower you to gain insight, build resilience, and make meaningful changes that improve your well-being.

Play Therapy
My practice offers a variety of play therapy approaches, including art therapy, sand tray therapy, and AutPlay. Participating in these creative activities helps children build resilience, improve communication skills, strengthen their sense of self-worth, and better manage their emotions contributing to their overall wellbeing. Through toys, art, stories, and games, children can share their thoughts, feelings, fears, and hopes in a safe and supportive environment.

Child and Adolescent Counselling
I am passionate about supporting children, young people and their families through life’s challenges. I take a holistic, evidence-based approach, tailoring therapy to each child’s unique strengths, needs, and experiences. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space whether in person or online where children and teens can express themselves, build resilience, and develop practical coping skills. I work closely with families, recognising the important role you play in your child’s growth and wellbeing, and I am committed to helping your child thrive.

Adult Counselling
My approach is grounded in person-centred, neuro-affirming and strengths-based practice drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I believe in creating a safe, collaborative space where you can explore your story, build on your inner resources, and move towards meaningful change at your own pace. Together, we’ll work to help you reconnect with your values, discover new perspectives, and develop practical strategies that promote your overall wellbeing.
